The Group’s main stake is the environmental and sustainable development issue.  The Navarra Group cooperates with universities, companies and institutions in the research for new solutions for environmental matters. In this direction, Navarra - Extrusão de Alumínio, S.A. the Environmental Certification management system has been implemented, in compliance with the standard NP EN ISO 14001:2004.

The main goals of Group Navarra’s sustainable development strategy are:
  • The preservation of natural resources (soils, air and water resources);
  • The rational and efficient use of raw materials;
  • The reduction of residues resulting from production, and
  • Recycling and/or valorisation of residues.
  • Energy saving (energetic efficiency aiming for the technical viability of the construction of a co-generation central);
In order to achieve such goals, the Group relies on infrastructures and equipment that favour the preservation of the Environment. As an example, its ETAR’s treats all their liquid effluents and promote the formation of non-hazardous residues.

These achieved goals translate our permanent concern and commitment in finding solutions which may contribute to the sustainable development of the Navarra Group, resulting in the protection of the environment and the society which revolves around it. It is the continual concern for a better World!
